Interesting NY Times article

Have a look at this interesting article from the New York Times. It gives a really good insight into the different perspectives of the parties involved and some of the unseen benefits of RJ. Contrary to what the article states, there have been RJ processes run in many murder cases. We have even done one in Tauranga. What's important is whether the process meets the needs of the parties at the time. RJ can work across all levels of offence, not just the lower level offending.
